On the bench, a 46mm Series 10 or Series 11 usually arrives with the same history: a door frame, a dumbbell or a tiled floor. These are the largest non-Ultra Apple Watch screens and not a cheap part, so the fitting deserves care.
This OLED display screen assembly fits the Series 10 and Series 11 in the 46mm case. It is OEM Pull: Apple's own panel removed from a donor watch.
Confirming a 46mm display fault
Shattered or cracked glass is obvious. The quieter signs are a screen that stays black while the watch pairs and vibrates, touch that ignores one edge, and color patches or lines after a fall. If the watch shows no sign of life at all, rule out the battery and charging before buying a display.
A careful fitting sequence
Warm the edge of the display gently and work a thin blade under the glass.
2. Lift it only as far as the cables allow.
3. Disconnect the battery, then the display.
4. Connect the new screen and test touch, brightness and the always-on mode.
5. Remove every trace of old adhesive and seal with new.
Skip the test step and you risk sealing in a fault. Follow it, and the 46mm watch goes back on the wrist with a clean, bright screen.
