Buying guide

How to choose glue and tape

  • Screen and back glass: use flexible phone repair glue or sealant; sealant press plates hold the frame while it cures.

  • Heat-resistant tape: polyimide (Kapton-type) and PTFE tape shield nearby parts from hot air.

  • Thermal materials: thermal pads, grease and CPU fever paste help dissipate heat after board repair.

  • For pre-cut adhesive for a specific phone model, see Back Glass, Housings & Small Parts.
