2UUL SC81 SurGun Electric Glue Dispenser

Pushing thick flux or buffer glue out of a syringe by thumb gets tiring after a few jobs. The flow also comes out unevenly when the plunger sticks. A powered dispenser pushes the plunger at a steady rate, so you only have to guide the tip.

The 2UUL SC81 SurGun is a rechargeable electric dispenser for 30 ml syringes with a 17.5 mm inner diameter. It has three speed settings, high, medium and low, to suit thin or thick materials. According to the listing, it releases pressure automatically when you let go, to stop dripping. It has a built-in 1100 mAh battery that charges over USB-C, and it weighs 106 g.

When it helps

• A sore thumb from pushing thick flux or glue by hand.

• Uneven glue lines because the plunger sticks or jumps.

• Flux or glue that keeps dripping after you stop.

• Applying frame buffer glue or flux in small amounts at a time.

Operation

Charge it fully before first use; the listing says this takes about 2 hours. Twist a syringe into the holder and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn it on. Press briefly to choose a speed, then squeeze the trigger to dispense and release it to stop.

The charging light is red while charging and green when full. Take the syringe out and clean the nozzle if you won't use it for a while.
