SUNSHINE S-918K Vacuum Screen Separator (UK Plug, Blue)

Switching between an iPhone and a Samsung screen often means a different temperature each time, and dialing it in again slows you down. The SUNSHINE S-918K is a heated vacuum separator with three temperature presets for quick changes.

It has digital temperature control, a built-in vacuum pump and an 8.5-inch working area (about 110 x 190 mm). It's rated 230 W, accepts 110 or 220 V, and this blue version has a UK plug. It measures about 283 x 170 x 120 mm.

When to use it

• Cracked glass on a working LCD or OLED.

• A screen that slips while you cut the adhesive.

• Different phone models that need different heat.

• OCA that tears unevenly without heat.

Tips

Save your common temperatures to the presets. Let the plate heat fully, place the screen and check the vacuum holds before cutting.

The listing doesn't give the temperature range. For a rotating platform, look at the S-918L Pro. Clean the plate between screens so glass chips don't press into the next panel, and switch the pump off when the plate is empty.
