MaAnt 0.5X / 0.7X Barlow Auxiliary Lens

At high zoom, a stereo microscope can leave so little space under the objective that a hot air nozzle barely fits. A Barlow auxiliary lens screws onto the objective and changes that balance between magnification and working room.

MaAnt offers this widefield Barlow lens in 0.5X and 0.7X. A lens below 1X lowers the total magnification and, in general, increases the working distance and widens the field of view. The 0.5X gives the most room and widest view. The 0.7X keeps more magnification while still adding space.

When an auxiliary lens helps

• A hot air nozzle that won't fit under the objective without hitting it.

• Flux smoke fogging or damaging a lens that sits too close.

• A fault missed because the field of view is too narrow.

• Tweezers stuck at awkward angles during CPU and BGA work.

0.5X or 0.7X?

Choose the 0.5X for BGA, CPU and IC work where you need tool space and a wide view. Choose the 0.7X if you need more detail and only a little extra room.
