Details

Flux smoke and dust slowly cloud a microscope's lenses, and most technicians only notice when the image looks soft. The SUNSHINE M9T-B11 in blue is a trinocular stereo microscope for board repair, and good lens care keeps it sharp.

It comes with eyepieces, a stand and working base, LED lighting and accessories. Magnification is adjustable, and the third port accepts an external camera or display, sold separately.

When it's needed

  • Hairline cracks in joints on charging ICs.

  • Lifted pads after removing a chip.

  • Broken traces near the board edge.

  • Corrosion spots after liquid damage.

Lens care routine

Blow loose dust off with a rubber blower before you wipe anything. Then use lens tissue with a drop of lens cleaner, wiping in a spiral from the center out. Never wipe a dry, dusty lens, since grit scratches the coating. Use a fume extractor so less flux smoke reaches the objective, and cover the eyepieces at the end of the day.

The listing gives no zoom range or working distance. Silver and black versions are listed separately.
