The iPhone 15 brought a high-resolution main camera to Apple's standard model, so owners use it heavily for photos and video. When that camera fails, it's one of the more noticeable faults a phone can have: the camera app opens to black, or every photo comes out soft.

This rear camera module is the dual camera for the iPhone 15 and is listed as Original (OEM). It doesn't fit the iPhone 15 Plus.

When to replace the module

A black picture or a camera app that won't start after a drop.
Blurry images even though the lens glass is clean and intact.
A shaking picture or a buzzing sound when the camera is open.
One of the two lenses no longer switches on.

Rule out cracked lens glass first, since it causes haze and is fixed separately. Fitting the module requires opening the phone and a steady hand around small connectors. Afterward, test both lenses, focus, video and the flash. iOS may list the camera as a replaced part.
