The iPhone 14 generation split in two. The 14 and 14 Plus kept the notch, while the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max introduced the Dynamic Island and an always-on display. From the front they look different, and inside they use different screens, so the first step in any 14-series screen repair is confirming which phone is on the bench.

This screen assembly comes with the bezel fitted, offered for the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Qualities are OEM Refurb, Soft OLED and Incell for every model, with Hard OLED as well for the two Pro models.

Faults that call for a new screen

A cracked front after a fall is the most frequent case. Others are colored lines or a green cast after pressure on the OLED, a black screen while the phone still rings, touch that's dead in patches, and flicker at low brightness that started after an impact.

On the 14 and 14 Plus the redesigned interior allows the phone to be opened from the back too, but the screen still comes off from the front. Keep the earpiece and sensor parts from the old screen, since Face ID depends on them, and test the display, touch and Face ID before sealing. iOS may show the screen in Parts and Service History.

What's the difference between the qualities?

OEM Refurb is an original Apple display refurbished with new glass and bezel, then cleaned and polished. Soft OLED and Hard OLED are aftermarket assemblies with a flexible or rigid OLED panel, and Incell is an aftermarket assembly with an LCD panel.

Does the iPhone 14 screen fit the 14 Pro?

No. The 14 Pro has a different screen with the Dynamic Island cutout. Select your exact model.

Is Hard OLED available for the iPhone 14?

Will Face ID and True Tone keep working?
