2UUL DA86 Mini Grinder

Sometimes a full-size grinder is overkill. The 2UUL DA86 Mini Grinder weighs about 58 g, light enough to hold like a pen for small grinding, polishing and engraving jobs.

It reaches up to 15,000 RPM with five speed levels, runs on a built-in 320 mAh lithium battery and charges over USB-C. The listing describes low-vibration running. The kit includes the grinder, 10 grinding heads and a USB-C cable.

When the DA86 helps

• Adhesive stuck on a small frame area.

• Rough or damaged edges that need smoothing.

• Marking or engraving parts for tracking.

• Quick fixes on site where a big tool won't fit.

Battery and speed

With a small battery, charge it before each session and keep it for short jobs. Use the lower speeds for plastics and boards, and save the top speed for metal.

Clean the bits after use and wear eye protection. For longer sessions or slower start speeds, the DA84 or DA85 grinders have bigger batteries. Hold the DA86 lightly and let the bit do the work; pressing hard only slows the motor and drains the small battery faster.
