2UUL DA85 CVT Pro Coreless Motor Grinder

Grinding near a CPU at full speed is how traces get cut. The 2UUL DA85 CVT Pro starts from just 100 RPM, so you can creep up on delicate work, and goes up to 12,000 RPM when you need to remove material.

It uses a coreless motor for quick starts and low vibration, with stepless speed control and an OLED display that shows speed, torque level and direction of rotation. Power comes from two 2000 mAh lithium batteries, rated for up to 8 hours of running, with USB-C charging. Three collets take bits from 0.5 to 3.0 mm shanks.

When the DA85 helps

• Damaged or stuck adhesive on camera module frames.

• Layer separation on stacked boards after the glue is softened.

• Frame edges that are bent or worn and need trimming.

• IC surfaces that need light polishing for inspection.

What's in the case

The kit includes the grinder, 10 grinding heads, three collets (0.5–1.5, 1.0–2.35 and 2.3–3.0 mm), a USB-C cable, a hex wrench and a storage case.

Start at the lowest useful speed and raise it slowly. Reverse rotation helps when a bit grabs or when you want a different finish.
