The Galaxy S23 Ultra kept the built-in S Pen but flattened its screen edges compared with earlier Ultras, which made accidental touches less common and the glass a little less exposed at the sides. Cracked glass is the most common, followed by lines or dark blotches in the OLED, a black screen while the phone works, and touch or S Pen input that fails in one area. A fingerprint sensor that stops reading after a crack is another sign the screen has been damaged.

Pick the frame version that matches your model number. Move the internal parts into the new frame, consider a new battery since the old one is glued, and test display, touch and fingerprint before sealing. Delete old fingerprints and register them again afterward.
