Details
Two small jobs come up on every board repair: cooling a chip after soldering so you can test sooner, and blowing dust off a camera before the phone is closed. The 2UUL DA90 BB Nano handles both with a cordless, pen-sized turbine fan.
The DA90 BB Nano from 2UUL has a 30W turbine motor that produces a focused, directional airflow. It runs on a built-in 1300mAh lithium battery, charges over USB-C and can sit on the bench for hands-free cooling or be held like a pen.
When the DA90 earns its place
A CPU, PMIC or other IC at risk of overheating after soldering.
Dust spots on a camera lens or module before reassembly.
Lint in a charging port causing intermittent charging.
Fine debris that could damage an earpiece mesh or connector.
Using it well
Check the intake and nozzle for debris before each use, and keep the airflow away from loose tiny parts; a focused stream can send a shield or screw flying.
Moving smoke aside isn't the same as extracting it. Use a proper fume extractor for regular soldering. When cleaning a camera, blow dust out and away rather than across the open module.
