How to choose boards and sensors

  • GPS / compass errors: check the GPS module and its flat cable.

  • ESC or motor errors on several arms: the ESC board or ESC flat cable may be damaged.

  • Vision system errors: forward, downward and rear vision sensors and their cables are listed per model.

  • IMU: after IMU replacement the drone must be calibrated in the DJI app.

What does an ESC board do?

The electronic speed controller drives the motors. ESC faults cause motor errors or a drone that won't take off.

My drone shows a compass or GPS error – which part do I need?

First calibrate the compass away from metal. If the error stays, check the GPS/compass module and its flat cable for damage.

Are core boards activated to my drone?

A replacement core board may need binding or activation with DJI tools; check the listing and DJI's procedures for your model.
