Details
In a busy repair shop the hot air station runs from opening time until close. A unit that struggles to hold heat on a large shield or a stacked board doesn't just slow one repair down; it costs time on every board that crosses the bench. The QUICK 861 Pro is the station many shops move up to when a smaller unit can't keep up with that kind of work.
QUICK's 861 Pro is a 1300 W hot air rework station with a temperature range of 50 to 550 °C and airflow of up to 70 L/min from a brushless vortex blower. A K-type sensor with closed-loop control holds the set temperature, and the color display shows temperature and airflow either as numbers or as a heating curve.
Typical jobs and when shops upgrade
Shops usually move to a station like this when a smaller unit stops coping: heat that drops on a large shield, a weak fan that leaves joints half-melted, or a worn element that fails mid-job. On phone and tablet boards it covers the daily jobs: removing and refitting ICs, BGA rework, lifting shields and board-to-board connectors, and separating sandwich boards together with a preheater. Away from the board, the same station handles heat-shrink, softening adhesive and drying.
Four memory channels (CH1 to CH4) each store a temperature and airflow pair, so one technician can keep a gentle setting for small passives and a stronger one for shields, and switch with one press. The handle holder has a magnetic switch: put the handle back and the station stops heating and cools the element, pick it up and it carries on. Password protection and a button lock keep settings from being changed when several people share a bench.
For a shop where hot air work never stops, the 861 Pro is a station built to hold its temperature through a full day of board repairs.

Questions
Is it suitable for phone motherboard repair?
Yes. With a small nozzle and low airflow it handles passives and small ICs, and its 1300 W output keeps temperature stable on shields, CPUs and stacked boards.
What do the memory channels do?
Each of the four channels stores a temperature and airflow setting. You switch between saved settings with one button instead of adjusting both values every time.
Does the station switch off when the handle is put down?
It stops heating and cools the element when the handle is placed in its holder, thanks to a magnetic switch, and resumes when you lift it again.
