MacBook Air 13" A2681 (Mid 2022) LCD Screen Display Assembly

The M2 MacBook Air (A2681) brought a new look: flat edges, a notch for the camera and a bigger 13.6-inch screen that runs almost to the edge of the lid. The price of that slim design is a display with very little around it, so a bit of pressure in a backpack or a pen left on the keyboard can be enough to crack it.

This aftermarket LCD screen display assembly fits the MacBook Air 13-inch A2681 (Mid 2022), in Silver, Starlight, Space Grey or Midnight, S+ Grade.

How screen damage usually shows up

• A crack that starts at one point and spreads after a few days of opening and closing.

• Dark patches or colored lines that don't move when the picture changes.

• Part of the screen staying black while the rest works.

• A display that's dark at startup even though the keyboard lights up and the Mac responds.

Check the model number on the bottom case before ordering; the M3 Air looks the same but uses its own listing. Pick the lid color that matches your MacBook, since the assembly includes the lid.

With the new assembly in, the notch-era Air gets its full edge-to-edge screen back.
