iMac 27-inch Retina 5K (A2115)A2115

Details

The 2020 27-inch iMac was the last of the line, and many are still in daily use in studios, offices and homes. If yours has a cracked screen, lines or a flickering display but otherwise works, a new display assembly can keep it going.

This aftermarket LCD screen display assembly fits the iMac 27-inch A2115 5K (2020), in S+ Grade.

Signs the display has failed

Cracks after a knock, vertical lines, dark patches, a backlight that flickers or goes out and a screen that stays black while the iMac still runs are the common signs. Test with an external monitor: if that picture is fine, the panel is the fault.

The 2019 iMac shares model number A2115 but is listed separately, so confirm your year in About This Mac. The glass is part of the bonded assembly, which is held in with adhesive, so plan for new adhesive strips.

Unplug the iMac before any work. A technician with experience of 27-inch iMacs can fit it, and the big 5K screen will be back to full clarity.
