The original Mavic Pro, launched in 2016, is still flown by many hobbyists, and compass errors are one of its more common age-related faults. Its compass connects through a small cable board, and a damaged link can produce calibration failures that no amount of field calibration will fix.

Finding the cause of Mavic Pro compass errors

Move away from steel structures, cars and reinforced concrete and try again.
Remove any magnetic accessories, such as phone mounts with magnets.
Calibrate the compass following the app's prompts.
If calibration still fails, or errors began after a crash, inspect the compass cable board.

After replacement

The listing recommends calibration and testing after fitting. Calibrate the compass outdoors, check the heading against a known direction and hover low before a longer flight.
