DJI Mavic Air 2 Arm with Motor

On the Mavic Air 2, the folding arms take the hit in most crashes. A cracked hinge or a motor that grinds after hitting the ground usually means the whole arm needs replacing, and an arm that comes with its motor fitted saves a lot of soldering.

This listing sells grey replacement arms with motors for the DJI Mavic Air 2, as Left Front, Right Front, Left Rear or Right Rear, or as a set of all four (4 in 1). It doesn't say who makes them, so they're treated as aftermarket.

Signs an arm needs replacing

• A cracked or loose arm hinge.

• A motor that grinds, wobbles or won't spin freely.

• Motor errors after a crash.

• Vibration in footage from a bent motor shaft.

Fitting it

Order the correct position, because front and rear arms differ, and so do left and right. Route the motor cable as the old one was, so it isn't pinched when the arm folds.

Spin each motor by hand before power-up, then test with the props off. Calibrate the IMU after fitting, and fit new propellers if the old ones are chipped.
