DJI Mavic 3

Details

The Mavic 3 camera head holds two cameras, the 4/3 Hasselblad main camera and a telephoto, and the lens frame keeps them aligned inside the gimbal. On the bench, a cracked or warped frame shows up as a gimbal that won't balance, a camera that sits slightly crooked or a front that no longer closes neatly.

This gimbal lens frame is listed for the DJI Mavic 3. The listing names no maker; we sell it as aftermarket. It's the frame only, without glass, judging by the listing; a frame with lens glass is listed separately.

Signs the Mavic 3 lens frame is damaged

Visible cracks or warping after an impact.
Gimbal balance problems or motor strain with no other damage found.
A front cover that won't seat properly.
Cameras that look misaligned in the head.

Bench approach

Compare the old frame with the new one before transferring parts. Keep the camera lenses covered, work in a dust-free area and avoid stressing the flex cables as the cameras move across.

Calibrate the gimbal afterward and record test footage with both cameras, checking focus at the edges as well as the center. A sound frame keeps the Mavic 3's optics aligned and the gimbal balanced.
