Inside a Mavic 3, the battery's energy doesn't go straight to the motors. It passes through a power board that distributes it and an electronic speed controller that turns flight-controller commands into precise motor speeds. On this module both jobs sit on one board, so a fault here can affect every motor at once.

This power board ESC module is listed for the DJI Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Classic and Mavic 3 Cine. It isn't described as a DJI-made part, so we list it as aftermarket.

Signs of a Mavic 3 power board fault

Motors that won't start or respond unevenly, ESC or power errors in the app, the drone shutting down under load, and burn marks or a hot smell after a crash or a wet landing are the usual signs. A short circuit from water or a damaged battery contact can also damage this board.

Before replacing it

Check the battery contacts in the drone and on the pack for scorching, and turn each motor by hand for rough bearings. If the board is at fault, fit the new one with the battery removed, then test the motors without propellers before a low hover.

A healthy power board gives the Mavic 3 clean power and even motor control on every flight.
