DJI Mavic 2 Pro

Details

Shaky footage on a Mavic 2 Pro often gets blamed on the propellers, and it's easy to swap them twice without improving anything. If a hard landing has cracked the dampener mount board, vibration passes straight from the body to the gimbal, and new props won't change that.

This gimbal dampener mount shock-absorbing board is listed for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom. With no maker named, it's sold as aftermarket.

When the Mavic 2 damper board needs replacing

Jello or shaking in footage that new propellers don't fix.
A cracked or bent board after an impact.
A gimbal that sags or sits unevenly.

Fitting the board

Note the position of each rubber damper before you remove the old board, and seat them fully on the new one. Check that the gimbal hangs freely without touching the body, and protect the flex cables.

Run a gimbal calibration, then fly a short hover and review the clip at full size for any remaining shake. Remember that worn dampers age together, so inspect every one while the gimbal is open. The listing doesn't say whether dampers are included, so check the photos.
