Rear vision errors on a DJI Air 3 don't always mean a broken sensor. The thin flat cable that links the rear vision module to the drone's internals can tear or crease in a crash, or during an earlier repair, and it costs about half as much as the sensor assembly.
This rear vision flat cable (FPC) is listed for the DJI Air 3. The listing names no maker, so we sell it as aftermarket.
Rear sensing errors that started right after the drone was opened.
Errors that come and go when the drone is moved or tapped.
A visibly creased, torn or burnt flex.
Lift connectors straight up with a plastic tool, never by pulling the cable. Line the new cable up squarely, press each end until it seats evenly, and avoid sharp folds when routing it. Then calibrate the vision system and test rear sensing in open ground.
If the rear sensor lenses are intact, fixing the cable first is often the cheapest way to clear an Air 3 rear-sensor fault.

No. It's the flat cable only.
Errors that began after the drone was opened, or that come and go when it's moved, often point to the cable.
