Of a gimbal's three axes, pitch is the one pilots notice most: it tilts the camera up and down, from straight ahead to looking at the ground. On the Air 2S, the pitch motor is built into the lens frame, so a damaged frame or motor shows up as a camera that won't tilt, jerks or drifts.

This lens frame with P-axis (pitch) motor is listed for the DJI Air 2S. We sell it as aftermarket, since no manufacturer is named.

The camera module mounts in this frame, so work slowly and keep the lens and sensor protected from dust. Avoid strain on the gimbal flex cables during the transfer. After reassembly, power the drone on a level surface and calibrate the gimbal, then check the full tilt range in DJI Fly.
