DJI Air 1 Drone (Like New)

Picture a backpacking trip where every gram counts. The original DJI Mavic Air, listed here as the Air 1, folds down small enough for a jacket pocket and still records 4K video on a 3-axis gimbal.

This pre-owned drone is described as like new, tested and fully working. All three packages include a remote that uses your phone as the screen. Standard comes with one battery, Two Batteries adds a second, and the Fly More Combo has three batteries, a charging hub and a travel bag. The listing also mentions 32MP Sphere Panoramas and SmartGesture control, which lets you take off, land and take photos with hand gestures.

Who it suits

• A low-cost way to try 4K aerial video.

• A small backup drone for travel, in case the main one fails.

• A learning aircraft, so early crashes don't damage something expensive.

• Replacing an old Mavic Air with a broken gimbal or a dead battery.

Worth knowing

This is an older model released in 2018, so check that your phone works with the DJI app it needs. Batteries of this age can lose capacity, so test each one before a long flight. Charge them fully, check for any swelling, and watch the voltage readings during a short hover.
