AD28 Gimbal Motor Tester for DJI Mavic 3 Series

Rebuilding a Mavic 3 gimbal is slow, careful work, and finding out at the end that one of the new motors is faulty means taking it all apart again. The AD28 tester checks gimbal motors on the bench first, so a bad motor is caught before it's installed.

The AD28 is a gimbal motor tester listed for the DJI Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Classic, Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T. It tests the yaw, roll and pitch motors and shows the result on a digital display. It's sold new.

How the test works

1. Connect the gimbal motor to the tester with the compatible gimbal signal cable.

2. Power the tester through its USB-C port from a 5 V supply rated above 1 A.

3. Select yaw, roll or pitch test mode.

4. Read the result: OK means the motor is working normally; NG points to a possible fault.

Where it saves time

Use it to check motors from a parts supplier before fitting, to confirm whether an existing motor is the cause of a gimbal error, and to sort used motors from donor drones. A motor that tests NG shouldn't go into a customer's drone.
